Tomorrow will be the day Shiho and I embark on our journey to California. Form the info gathered from Google, MapQuest, and Yahoo, the trip will be 2,860 miles or so. If I drive 500 miles a day, we can get to San Jose in six days, which isn't too bad.
We've sent several baggages to Tomomi, Shiho's friend in San Jose, through the postal office. The fee for a 40 to 50 pounds baggage is about $40 if I recall correctly. We were both happy that we got rid of these hefty burden. Doing so would save us some gas expense too.
Both of us are packing the last bit of things we have. Then it's bed time and then road time.
